Become a member

ICRS is Imperial’s home for robotics, making, and creative engineering. We provide a dedicated lab space (EEE 505) where students can design, prototype, and experiment with their own projects. With 3D printers, a laser cutter, soldering stations, and access to components, the lab is set up for everything from quick prototypes to ambitious builds.

Whether you’re completely new to robotics or already working on complex projects, ICRS is a place to learn new skills, work on exciting ideas, and be part of a supportive community of makers.

What we do

Make – Use our hackspace to build whatever you can imagine. ICRS members can get unlimited free 3D printing with a Lab Pass!

Learn – Take part in workshops and courses, including our popular Robotics 101!

Compete – Join one of our project teams and represent ICRS in competitions like the European Rover Challenge or battle bots, or take part in our internal robotics contests.

Hackathons – Create a team and build an incredible project over a weekend at one of our hackathons.
